Haley & Rick’s Beautiful Boulder Ridge Country Club Wedding

Haley and Rick met on Bumble and hit it off right away, they bonded over a shared love of Schitt’s Creek and Moscow mules. It wasn’t long before Haley moved in . . .

Haley and Rick met on Bumble and hit it off right away, they bonded over a shared love of Schitt’s Creek and Moscow mules. It wasn’t long before Haley moved in and they started going on adventures together. Haley shared her love of horses with Rick and they spent many early mornings together at the barn. Rick got Haley to love and enjoy golfing just as much as him. On a perfect August evening, Rick proposed to Haley on the beautiful McHenry riverwalk where they celebrated with family and close friends afterwards.

After Conrad photographed Haley and Rick’s proposal we were excited to be invited to photograph their wedding this Summer! Christy has photographed Haley’s sister’s family and it was a lot of fun to get everyone together to celebrate Haley and Rick! I loved getting to know Haley and Rick better when we took their engagement photos at the beautiful barn that she used to work at in Barrington. We had a lot of fun that evening and it made me even more excited to be a part of their wedding this Summer!

When we arrived on the big day Haley looked SO. GOOD. in her stunning gown from Volle’s, Christy and I could have spent all day just taking pictures of this gorgeous bride. Once the girls were ready we made our way to Boulder Ridge Country Club and settled in for the day before Haley and Rick shared their sweetly emotional first look. We had fun exploring the gorgeous grounds at Boulder Ridge taking pictures with Haley, Rick and their closest friends and family, everyone was in great spirits and the weather was just gorgeous.

Haley and Rick wrote their own vows and shared them during their ceremony, it was so special to hear them talk about their connection and their commitment to supporting one another’s goals. After the ceremony we made our way inside where the talented team at Floral Events had really transformed the reception room into something magical. We were excited to see our great friend Ken from Amp Event Professionals, it’s always a great time when he DJs a wedding! It was a beautiful and memorable night and we were so glad to be a part of it!
