Haley & Rick’s Beautiful Boulder Ridge Country Club Wedding

Haley and Rick met on Bumble and hit it off right away, they bonded over a shared love of Schitt’s Creek and Moscow mules. It wasn’t long before Haley moved in . . .

Haley and Rick met on Bumble and hit it off right away, they bonded over a shared love of Schitt’s Creek and Moscow mules. It wasn’t long before Haley moved in and they started going on adventures together. Haley shared her love of horses with Rick and they spent many early mornings together at the barn. Rick got Haley to love and enjoy golfing just as much as him. On a perfect August evening, Rick proposed to Haley on the beautiful McHenry riverwalk where they celebrated with family and close friends afterwards.

After Conrad photographed Haley and Rick’s proposal we were excited to be invited to photograph their wedding this Summer! Christy has photographed Haley’s sister’s family and it was a lot of fun to get everyone together to celebrate Haley and Rick! I loved getting to know Haley and Rick better when we took their engagement photos at the beautiful barn that she used to work at in Barrington. We had a lot of fun that evening and it made me even more excited to be a part of their wedding this Summer!

When we arrived on the big day Haley looked SO. GOOD. in her stunning gown from Volle’s, Christy and I could have spent all day just taking pictures of this gorgeous bride. Once the girls were ready we made our way to Boulder Ridge Country Club and settled in for the day before Haley and Rick shared their sweetly emotional first look. We had fun exploring the gorgeous grounds at Boulder Ridge taking pictures with Haley, Rick and their closest friends and family, everyone was in great spirits and the weather was just gorgeous.

Haley and Rick wrote their own vows and shared them during their ceremony, it was so special to hear them talk about their connection and their commitment to supporting one another’s goals. After the ceremony we made our way inside where the talented team at Floral Events had really transformed the reception room into something magical. We were excited to see our great friend Ken from Amp Event Professionals, it’s always a great time when he DJs a wedding! It was a beautiful and memorable night and we were so glad to be a part of it!

Sarah & Ryan’s Gorgeous Boxed and Burlap Wedding

Sarah and Ryan first met in February 2017 at a Harper Baseball party. Her friend Jessica had a crush on Ryan at the time, and Sarah could totally see why. Months later, Ryan and Sarah rekindled through her friend Jessica and the rest is history. Sarah and Ryan have been together since October of 2017 and got engaged in April of 2024 while on a trip with friends in Galena, Ryan had planned the perfect moment to ask Sarah to marry him and they then celebrated with their closest family and friends.

When I first met Sarah I was beyond excited to be a part of her wedding, she is truly one of the sweetest people and just gorgeous inside and out. I had a lot of fun getting to know Sarah and Ryan at their beautiful Fall engagement session last year in Lincoln Park. Christy was able to meet and get to know Sarah when she scheduled a Boudoir Session as a surprise wedding gift for Ryan – he was beyond excited to see those stunning photos when he opened his gift on their wedding day!

Christy and I made the trip up to Wisconsin together for Sarah and Ryan’s wedding and the weather and vibes could not have been better. We arrived at Boxed and Burlap and immediately realized this was one of our new favorite venues, everything about this place is just perfect. The rustic aesthetic, beautiful landscaping and fluttering butterflies all set the scene for an unforgettable celebration. Sarah looked especially gorgeous and bridal thanks to the work of Melissa Ann Artistry and AG Hair Design. Once she was dressed Sarah had a sweet reveal with her bridesmaids before seeing her Dad, we just loved seeing all the joyful support that everyone gave Sarah! From there she walked towards the ceremony site for her first look with Ryan, his response to seeing his gorgeous bride was just adorable. Ryan was really emotional as he shared his private vows with Sarah, it was one of our favorite moments of the day.

After taking plenty of beautiful pictures with Sarah and Ryan’s wedding party and immediate families we settled in for their ceremony. Sarah was glowing while Ryan continued to be in awe of his bride. There was a lot of happy celebrating after the ceremony leading into cocktail hour, and as the light softened we took some gorgeous pictures up in front of the coffee shop. Then it was time for the reception to begin – after they were introduced Sarah and Ryan took a celebratory shot of their new “The Roberts” shot ski before being treated to several memorable toasts during dinner. Once the dance floor opened the party was really in full swing, the shot ski got a lot of use and the DJ kept everyone dancing and having fun at the photo booth. Before we left we met out at the butterfly garden for a sparkler exit, the perfect way to end the most amazing and unforgettable day! Sarah and Ryan two bring out the best in each other and clearly share so much love between them, it was such an honor to be a part of this perfect day!

Ashley & Mile’s Beautiful Chevy Chase Wedding

Ashley and Mile met at the gym in 2015 where they both shared a love for working out. They connected right away and their love grew, they then got engaged in 2022 while vacationing in Colorado. . .

Ashley and Mile met at the gym in 2015 where they both shared a love for working out. They connected right away and their love grew, they then got engaged in 2022 while hiking in Colorado. Ashley and Mile have been together for over 8 years and tied the knot officially last year on August 26th, 2023!

Conrad first got to know Ashley and Mile (and their adorable dogs Buzz and Apollo!) at their engagement session in October 2022. He loved spending time with this caring, fun and laid-back couple; it was such an honor for us to celebrate with their family and friends this year at their wedding at Chevy Chase!

Ashley and Mile’s wedding day fell right at the tail end of this Summer’s epic cicada explosion, but true to their laid-back nature the newlyweds just rolled with it and didn’t let the bugs bother them. They said that the cicadas were “paid actors” during their ceremony and didn’t mind them landing on their wedding clothes (and even Mile’s nose!!) throughout the day! Ashley’s sister Gina went through the process of becoming ordained so she could marry Ashley and Mile last year during their backyard wedding. This time around Ashley’s Aunt officiated during their beautiful ceremony on the green at Chevy Chase. Ashley wrote long and thoughtful vows while Mile “winged it” for his, but both were from the heart and sweet declarations of their unending love for one another.

After their touching ceremony we settled in for an epic celebration – Ashley and Mile danced to Taylor Swift and were treated to a GORGEOUS sunset during dinner (we sure do LOVE having the chance to take sunset photos at Chevy Chase!) We had the best time at this unforgettable wedding, what an honor for us to be a part of this perfect day!
